Wyoming draw

Was just looking at Gohunts predicted 2025 draw odds for Antelope. Sitting on 6 NR points. Do you really need to apply in the special draw now to get a decent Antelope unit with more than 50% public land? Wyoming Antelope draw has really changed since I last hunted it in 2017.

Applied last year for regular draw in similar spot you are. My father and I travelled from Canada and hunted for 4 days. Had a great hunt on rifle opener, saw many antelope, and both were able to take respectable goats. If you have your eye on a specific unit I would not be afraid to put in special if that is what will get you the unit. I felt for us we did not need to go special, and that worked for us. While there was not a ton of large public tracts, we did have a walk on area that was fantastic. Good luck in the draw!

Ok cool, Il be keeping a eye out for it, I went with a group in 2021 to unit 25 and we all tagged out by 9 am opening day, I’m excited to be able to bring my Dad so hopefully we get drawn
