The law's against poaching are worthless.
Theres a lot too it. But having game wardens with bachelors degree loans making 50k a year or some places less, vs poachers who have millions of dollars in assets, and own millions of dollars of land, makes for an uphill battle.
 
The article says that his truck was seized….but never says if he was able to get it back once most of the charges were dropped…
If they kept his truck (depending on what it was worth) I would say that’s a pretty big punishment.

Somehow I doubt that this guy had millions in assets.

A search warrant executed at a residence in Asotin, Washington, where Nelson had been staying, led to the seizure of the suspected vehicle, clothing worn during the offense, and deer parts. Forensic testing confirmed blood collected at the residence matched blood recovered at the school.

Looks like a late 90’s early 00’s ford f150 so maybe a couple thousand dollars

Good enough. Just the technology is amazing.

They can find you guilty by saying the dna matches. Novsy to ssy - uh, huh?
