Annealing Service - viability?

He's pointing out to advertise on here for business purposes you need permission (and probably the other forums you referenced). You'd need to talk to the site owners about it and financial arrangements. Its something you'd need to factor into your pricing structure to cover so he was wisely giving you a heads up on that for pricing purposes and to not run afoul of the rules and get booted.

For those of us who choose not to tumble brass, brightening them up after annealing would be worth a few extra bucks. Spa day for brass.

Did he break this rule? "if you register as a member and use your company logo in your Avatar, your company name (in many cases,) and/or your company contact info in your signature line, your account will be deleted without notice."

Not sure he went to that extreme, I'll have to ask. It was several years ago, he doesn't have the company anymore.

Have you considered offering trimming too?

It crossed my mind at dinner tonight, that when it's time to anneal brass, it's usually almost time to trim too. Might as well do both for one shipping cost.

Offering full prep service would probably be a good idea. Including swaging, etc. If they're bumping shoulders have them send a piece to spec.

Personally, if I was going to pay for annealing, I would be expecting an AMP.
