I think they should wait for the final player to tap before telling him he won. It would definitely mess with last few contestants when deciding whether to tap or not (‘maybe I’m weeks from winning or maybe I’m about to win or maybe I won a week ago’)

Dude you seriously need to get laid. Getting such a hard on for a staged reality show is kind of disturbing. At least viagra tells you to consult a doctor if it lasts longer than 4 hrs....its been all day now. You might wanna call someone?
