Put a coat of peroxide on him just a bit ago.

Bottom 2 pictures shows the horn growth coming from his forehead. Pretty unique!

Looks like a forehead injury healed and left calcified bone repair in its place. I have one from 2012 that had the same injury and an antler conglomerate grew out of it like a unicorn. Pretty cool survival rate.

That's kind of what I was thinking. He was a beat up old warrior. He even had a couple holes in his left antler base, close to the pedicle that had puss coming out.
