was gunna say, $200 bucks seemed a little cheap from what i remembered, if it was true, my buddy would have been real happy this fall for our blueberry bear hunt in september. Those tags are 450 now. But yes. Before woulda been good. Lol
my bad not sure why 200 was stuck in my head. I just spent a month up there and none of the hunters I was with purchased one, I thought it was kind of crazy if you were coming from a state that doesnt have many black bear opportunities.was gunna say, $200 bucks seemed a little cheap from what i remembered, if it was true, my buddy would have been real happy this fall for our blueberry bear hunt in september.
If you’ve spent that much already, what is $450 more?my bad not sure why 200 was stuck in my head. I just spent a month up there and none of the hunters I was with purchased one, I thought it was kind of crazy if you were coming from a state that doesnt have many black bear opportunities.
I agree, unless you have multiple Booners alreadyIf you’ve spent that much already, what is $450 more?
Does shooting booners make you stop hunting? Not me. LolI agree, unless you have multiple Booners already
Doesnt make me stop hunting them, but has prevented me from buying an out of state tag when Im after another species and would have to pay an additional trophy fee if I shot one.Does shooting booners make you stop hunting? Not me. Lol
should be called a meat fee.Doesnt make me stop hunting them, but has prevented me from buying an out of state tag when Im after another species and would have to pay an additional trophy fee if I shot one.
Well. Four new cylinders on the super cub and we are back in the air!! Got the guys out today. Two browns and three blacks bears down.
It’s a 1952 piper pa-18. Aka super cubHope you found that issue while you were on the ground!
Would love to know more about your plane; they are always a highlight of most of my Alaska hunts. Always wanted to be a pilot…
.

Ya I hear ya. The taxes on it are pretty silly you gotta pay first. I never buy a ticket. LolAwesome airplane! I hope you get your horsepower back eventually.
I always buy the Valdez raffle tickets. I won’t be flying the winner but I figure I can turn it into a brown bear hunt and a few drop offs for deer pretty easily.
