Alaska brown bear license purchase?

Quick question for the Alaska guys- can one purchase an over the counter brown bear license and tag at Cabelas or Barney's in Anchorage? I know we can do it at the Game and Fish office, but thought we'd do a bit of browsing/shopping if we can do it elsewhere. Thanks much.

Yes you can if they are a vendor. Not all locations will have a locking tag though, should check to make sure they have them.

Cabelas, BassProShops, and Sportsman's Warehouse all usually have licenses and locking tags. Fred Myers often as well. Calling ahead is probably wise.
