Air Lock Industries Suppressor

I got my 7mmZG today. My experience after putting a few rounds through it was like what others have said.
  • Crazy light, almost like a toy
  • Great fit / finish
  • Seems to perform as well as my larger can (Q Thunder Chicken), at a fraction of the size
  • Heats up fast (21" 6.5 creed)
I don't know how you beat this performance at this form factor. Looking forward to the other cans Air Lock puts out.

These cans were built for the ultralight hunters that value size and weight above anything else. I don’t see the reason for a super lightweight/compact can to go on a 20lb+ 375 or 50. But I’m also just a fng here what do I know.
Thing is they seem to suppress so well there is minimal trade off. Might as well have great suppression and small size/weight.

One trade off is quickly heating up. Not a problem for hunting but less desirable for target shooting. With a big and heavy rifle already, not sure why chase an ultralight can like this… for something like a 50bmg.

Yeah, these cans seem to fit perfectly in the Rokslide small cal, low recoil moto. I don't understand why people are requesting them for heavy recoiling large calibers that will probably be in heavy, long rifles.

I wonder if these cans are starting to show us an endpoint in suppressor design. At a certain point you capture so much gas and heat up so quickly that it starts to limit what you can do with the suppressor. The airlock seems to fit an amazing use case, but still, it'll be interesting to see how designs keep evolving.
