Air Lock Industries Suppressor

@DannyB

You said the 7mm can is putting out less Db on a 6.5CM correct? I have a 16” 6.5CM so the size difference is moot to me, but definitely not want to be any louder than the Scythe that’s currently on it.

Thanks
Curious what he says, but his website says 1/2” in length saves you 1db between the two.

But it would open up additional caliber options.
Agree. I shoot 7s a lot so it’s appealing. But there are equally good 30cal cans (even more options) out there but an inch longer……

I really see the appeal for this as being good and short.

That said I’m guessing at 5.5” for the 7 it’s still really impressive

Yes the 7mm is quieter than the dedicated 6.5 suppressor.

The Zero Gravity 6.5 is similar is sound as a Scythe but makes a much better sound. Scythe makes a thump and ours makes a woosh noise. Really hard to describe until you hear it in person but the tone is completely different.

Are there specific drawings showing muzzle threading, shoulder details, barrel OD, etc similar to how Thunder Beast publishes?

I understand it might be too early for this level of detail but I am going to get a barrel cut down and re threaded and am considering this airlock can now, so figured I would ask.

Maybe cutting and threading is done to an industry standard, so the TB drawings could be utilized. This will be my first time getting a barrel cut and threaded so I’m personally unaware.

If it’s not an over the barrel suppressor then there is really nothing to measure. Cut and thread the barrel then screw it on.

Just have the barrel threaded 5/8x24, that’s the typical thread size.
