But it would open up additional caliber options.Curious what he says, but his website says 1/2” in length saves you 1db between the two.

Agree. I shoot 7s a lot so it’s appealing. But there are equally good 30cal cans (even more options) out there but an inch longer……But it would open up additional caliber options.
Yes the 7mm is quieter than the dedicated 6.5 suppressor.@DannyB
You said the 7mm can is putting out less Db on a 6.5CM correct? I have a 16” 6.5CM so the size difference is moot to me, but definitely not want to be any louder than the Scythe that’s currently on it.
Thanks
If it’s not an over the barrel suppressor then there is really nothing to measure. Cut and thread the barrel then screw it on.Are there specific drawings showing muzzle threading, shoulder details, barrel OD, etc similar to how Thunder Beast publishes?
I understand it might be too early for this level of detail but I am going to get a barrel cut down and re threaded and am considering this airlock can now, so figured I would ask.
Maybe cutting and threading is done to an industry standard, so the TB drawings could be utilized. This will be my first time getting a barrel cut and threaded so I’m personally unaware.

They mention this on Airlock website, not yet confirmed rating for 7BC. Don’t mention 277 fury as I recallExcuse me if it’s been covered, but are these cans rated for the newer high pressure rounds like 7mm BC and sig fury?
This suppressor, 7mm BC, aftermarket action, 18” barrel, and the new Manners folding stock sounds like a hell or a combination.
Agreed!!Bummer that these don’t have a HUB mounting system.
Could be potentially a big part of the weight savings though? I suppose it’s not a huge deal to use a 5/8-1/2 adapter, I just don’t love doing it.Agreed!!
I don't think twice about it, my 223 and 6cm I had threaded at 1/2" and out adapters on them.Could be potentially a big part of the weight savings though? I suppose it’s not a huge deal to use a 5/8-1/2 adapter, I just don’t love doing it.
Could be that I just need to use a higher quality adapter as I noticed a bit of inconsistency while shooting zeroes with mine. Who makes the ones you are you using there?I don't think twice about it, my 223 and 6cm I had threaded at 1/2" and out adapters on them.

I have 2 of these adapters. Cheap, but both appear to be excellent quality.1/2 x 28 to 5/8 x 24 Barrel Thread Adapter Standard Dia With Thread Protector Stainless #4248

I do as well, reasonably priced and seem well made.I have 2 of these adapters. Cheap, but both appear to be excellent quality.
I switched to UM adapters as I had an adapter that decided to stay in the can, so that can is now dedicated to 1/2" threads. https://unknownsuppressors.com/shop/acc/1-2-28-thread-adapter/Could be that I just need to use a higher quality adapter as I noticed a bit of inconsistency while shooting zeroes with mine.
