ACTION ALERT: CPW Commission vote on fur ban

Honestly the biggest risk to Wyoming is the small population. All it would take is several NGOs to start importing “refugees” and they could flip the state in one administration. See Utah…
This is a terrifying reality… you seriously have to be hostile to these commies and NGO’s not an inch can be seceded

Can’t even imagine how frustrating it must be for anyone in the org who believes in the NAWM, and who is trying to do their job and the right thing…. I pray they stay though, even Bennet who will likely win the governorship has mentioned that the CPW needs reform…
Is there an article with that Bennet statement? I am curious to read.

They are starting to show up here even. Guy in another thread arguing we need to compromise with the antis and that fur should not be sold. He is a plant.
Absolutely, they are communists, their end goal is anti hunting, anti self reliance, anti human, anti 2A and ultimately anti American and they should be treated with the utmost contempt. It’s not like 1960’s america where we are disagreeing on minor things but want the same outcomes, we have a radical militant group of people who want to destroy our way of life and either we dig in and fight or they will likely win. Sorry if this comes across as hyperbole to some but those in Co are living it… I’m sure anyone in WA, OR or Canada is witnessing as much first hand

They didn’t ask Sichko, OUR representative but I would have liked to know if he would bow to daddy Polis.
I heard he was there but I did not see him. He is not allowed to vote because he was nominated when the legislature is in session and has not been confirmed yet. The other two unconfirmed commissioners Blayney and Emerick were appointed last July when the legislature was not in session so they can vote but they still have not been confirmed.

He was definitely there for at least the first half. Emerick voted for the fur ban. He founded Colorado Wild along with his wife Delia Malone- longtime anti-hunting activist from Colorado Sierra Club and heavily involved in CATS campaign.

We need to create as much turmoil and controversy as possible surrounding the commission between now and November. Fight every single commission appointment in the state senate. Flood public comment at every commission meeting. Create as much negative press as possible surrounding the commission. Ensure that no one forgets the vote on March 4.

I just pinned this to the top of this sub-forum.

Hoping we can all get up to speed on this. It's gettin' real!

For me the near term move is to light up the email inboxes and voicemail of Senators Dylan Roberts-Steamboat and Nick Hinrichsen-Pueblo. They will be the swing votes in the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.

After the embarrassing debacle at the March 4 Commission. And the following vote against the CPW Director's recommendation and stated will of the voters, the commission voted to accept the fur ban citizen petition. Respectfully request the committee convene an oversight hearing with the Commission Chair Rich Reading and Vice Chair Jay Tutchton to achieve some level of public accountability and regain trust with critical stakeholders such as hunters, anglers, trappers, and livestock producers. Until such a hearing is conducted, request the committee halt confirmation of any CPW Commissioners. Furthermore, express concerns with the appointments of Emerick and Sichko and their ability to represent their statutory constituents and objectively support science-based wildlife management. I suspect both Senators will have plenty of opposition research on both. I believe CPW Commission appointments will begin hearings in committee next week.

Be respectful, I believe both of these Senators to be favorable to sportsmen. If you live in their districts, make sure they know that.

The hits just keep coming.. bill to eliminate harvesting of beavers on public lands introduced. These people will never stop.
Yeah they are going to make everything illegal, eventually in every state. Through corrupt and fraudulent means too. It is going to end up coming to either massive non compliance, you quit, or you move somwhere else where it isn't happening, YET.

Well I’m certainly not done hunting…
