AAE Max Hunter Vanes - Won't stay glued on?

Been shooting these daily and mine are still holding up great, even when they've gone through a bag target. With the tests I did, there are only two possible things that could have caused my adhesion issues: Acetone or the Q-Tips, once I swapped those for a primer pen everything worked great. Same glue(s), same prep otherwise. Maybe the bottle of Acetone got contaminated, who knows.

I am religious about using the AAE primer pen and max bond glue. I have never had an issue with any color including the batch I did this week. I also tip and tail with the max bond and it works great.

Since I went with the primer pen and the max bond I have never had an issue with the vanes falling off. This stuff is great!
