I can’t argue that… I should have said, “It wouldn’t be improper”.Nah, it would be weird as hell if one of my buddies i’ve known for decades suddenly told me he “harvested a buck” last weekend.
No way. I “run” a Feathered Friends sleeping bag broMy favorite misuse on this forum

Don’t bring peta into thisFarmers are killing the crops they harvest
Looks like he brought good bait.
I could see that, as mentioned earlier killing is the taking the animals life. Harvesting is taking that meat home.Alaska Dept of Fish & Game calls it a Harvest Report when you record your kills and submit it for record…
Well I hate to break it to you but you are killing them.
It is the terminology used in many hunting regulations. Montana has used the term harvest for years.Am I the only one bothered when hunters say they "harvested" an animal?
We aren't farmers. We are hunters. We kill the animal and harvest the meat. Why are we so afraid to say the word kill?
The killing part is also harvesting.I could see that, as mentioned earlier killing is the taking the animals life. Harvesting is taking that meat home.
I also eat most animals that I kill other than some predators and vermin.I'm the other way on this. I think it is harvesting. We are taking something to eat it, well, I am anyway.
I think people that overuse "kill" are trying to make it something more than it is.
