A lighthearted graphical observation about trailmix, clif bars, and the like

Reading this thread, I noticed most of you all eat better in the wild than I do at home. I should probably rethink my diet consisting of stuff that comes in bags.

Well, that depends.....burgers and fries are great, but a steady diet won't help the expanding "waistland"...... On the other hand, a doggie bag with the leftovers of a good steak dinner? That's different!!

When mountain house doesn't taste like a gourmet meal, you've been eating too much.

No I don't think so, cause mountain house taste like @zz any time I eat it and it's impossible for me to eat too much especially when on the mountain. I'll just stick to my homemade meals and my regular visits to the outhouse tree.

On her one and only overnight camping trip, my fiancée (now wife) told me that she thought mountain house lasagna tastes like stinky feet. She said the same thing about the breakfast skillet. A month later, I went on 10-day hike with my father, who volunteered to be in charge of buying food. He bought ten days of mountain house lasagna and breakfast skillets. After that, I relish the thought of cliff bars...
