88 ELD-M. What to build.

Whenever my 22 creed shows back up from cerakote, I should have some data for you on an 18" with 88s. I went with a 1:7.5 twist though.

I run an 18in, 7tw, 219 bore. Alpha srp brass, N555, shots well at 3030 as well as just a touch over 3100. 3100 is a lil warm from this short of a tube tho. Running a Dilligent wolf hunter can on it.

Edit, I had wrong bore ID in there......

Thank you very much, I may have to try some N555 that's great velocity. I went with a .150 FB on mine and also a .237 bore. I will be using Alpha LRP brass. I'm excited for this one!

That's a good choice for the heavies. I believe mine was chambered with the 0.169 freebore alpha reamer.

any updated input here in shooting a factory tikka barrel (22-250 or modified 22-2250 to 22cm) with a 1:8 twist and 88elmds?

Mine shot decently (rechambered 22-250 into 22 creed), I should have tried more bullets the 88s are kinda picky and you cannot easily get an 80gr moving faster so that the BC loss is mostly negated
