Just a follow up on the MDT mag I posted on above - it’s been feeding in the XLR quite well, even that last round.

@Oregonhuntrboi what did you need up doing, the seekins & prefit? What’s your timeline? Given your original post and question, it would be really interesting to hear what difference you personally notice dropping to 6 Creed from day to day shooting, bonus points for some follow-up wound channels once you’re all setup and hunting.

Ya seekins ph2 and proof pre fit. 16.5 inch barrel. SJA just emailed me and said it should be done in a couple of weeks. I’m gonna run factory 108 Eldm to start and depending on how that goes maybe get some custom loads from UM. I’ll definitely report back, as I plan on shooting the seekins 18 inch 7prc side by side with the seekins 6 creed.

Not belittling your decision at all, because the 6 PRC is awesome, but here is a reference for people.

600 yards, 10 mph full value wind.
5000 DA, 112 Match Burner

6 CM at 2950 fps: 16.7 “ wind drift.
6 PRC at 3150 fps: 15.4”
Delta of 1.3”

1800 fps
6 CM: 975
6 PRC: 1100
I need to do some more looking into.........I've been compilating both, mostly bc the wildcat factor is kinda cool....but maybe its not that cool

I’d say the 22 CM has the cool factor more than either 😎
I do agree, but sadly WA State its a no go for big game.

I however, may rebarrel my howa in 22cm just for shits and have them Laser "25" creedmoor on barrel and neck down 6mm brass..... do Gammie's carry calipers ?

Got the gun just in time to get dialed in for blacktail here in Oregon.

This speed with the 108’s correct?

How many rounds have you put through the gun?
I've got a 16.5" 6 creed for my kid and I get 2705fps with factory berger 108 ammo after 180 rounds down the pipe. Started out at 2616fps.

I'm thinking handloading I should be able to be in that 2750 range. The rifle is an absolute hammer and had no issues hitting targets out 1460 yards, and is perfect for hunting at reasonable distances inside of 400.

I have a 16” remage on the way to put on my first rifle (Remington long action).

Have 200 BH gold 108’s I’ll shoot through and then reload with 95tmk’s. I was thinking I might be knocking on 2800 with the 95’s

Check out Joel Turner ShotIQ podcasts and social media for archery shooting, and then bring those same concepts and ideas over to your rifle. Works well for your target panic larger caliber rifles.

You'll likely do better than that. 95tmk with lapua brass, ts15.5 I was running 3080 from 18in and had it all the way up to 3250. The 95tmk has hardly any bearing surface compared to the heavy 6mm bullets. It can be driven fast and doesn't make much pressure.

Man,

This barrel can’t get here fast enough. I’ve got the 95tmk’s just under 2700 in my 6ARC gas gun with a 16” barrel. Good to hear I can get that kind of speed out of this set up. I was being conservative, but I’m feeling my morals loosen.

I chose them based on my interaction with Form.

The 112 Match Burners have the highest B.C. and seem to split the difference in penetration between the ELD-M and DTAC. The 108 opening sooner and the DTAC having a longer neck length in the wound cavity.

He has said that they are a great choice for mid size game.
Do you think they will work in an 8 twist barrel, or does it need faster
