Light for caliber 6.5 creedmoor vs 6mm Creed

Sectional density is your friend in frangible bullets. That's why the lighter 6.5s are of less interest to me in addition to the BC loss.

Would the 130 class bullets be a happy middle ground for a 6.5? I just bought a 6.5 tikka with the intent to rebarrel to a 6 creed. But after discussing the cost with my gunsmith for barrel and rechamber, I’m second guessing if it’s worth it.

I wanted an 18” barrel, but realize with the 6.5 I’d be sacrificing more velocity than I wanted with the heavier rounds. Hence the reason for the 130 consideration.
