Just curious - I also have a C6 barrel on order, but for a 308. I'm going to put in another order for a 20" 7prc now... With it being 20", what twist rates are you going with?
I ordered a blank with 1:8 - berger has a good stabilizer calculator.

Thanks. Hornady on their 175 eldx information suggest 1:8.5min. The berger calculator on the other hand, gets full stability with any twist rate for this load, and barrel length isn't a variable (I'm getting a SG=4.48). HCR also used a 1:8 with good results. 20" w/ 1:8 I'm thinking makes most sense out of the shorter barrel, but proof is also using 1:8 on their 24" and 26" barrels. So just making sure 1:8 makes the most sense. Thanks!

Cool. Interested in how it shoots and any muzzle velocities you can record! Also, what stock is that? Looks nice.

Do you want to get rid of those 230 gr Hybrid Targets taking up space on your bench?

BTW - nice looking rifle.
Honestly, I was thinking of posting my 215’s for trade towards more 230’s haha my 300prc evidently hates the 215’s and loves the 230’s.

I’m hoping to go 20” or shorter when I get around to my build. I don’t think I’m ever going back to long barrels for anything other than bench/tripod setups.

I went with a 22” CF Sendero. The rifle should be complete soon but the UL7 is probably late July before it gets approved, estimated.

I went with 20” Sendero, just got to shoot it a little but it’s very promising. Shot at 387,576 and 752 with 180eldm.
More official testing is in order for groups and chrono once barrel normalizes. Velocities were around 2700 unofficially fwiw, no chrono but with AB custom drag model that’s what put me on at 752 yds.
Take all that with a grain of salt since it’s essentially goofing off with a green barrel.E5491A92-2B60-4C40-BAC9-DC2C8711ADB6.jpeg

How has the tikka action been doing chambered in the 7prc? I'm thinking that's my next build but I keep reading mixed reviews on it due to coal length. Thanks man!
It’s been fine with the 175 bergers. I have them seated at the bt/shoulder junction and they fit/feed fine in the factory magazine. Currently jumping .100 at 3.296 COAL. I think when I go to 180 hybrids (waiting on Peterson brass) I might have to switch to the mountain tactical mags.

Exactly what I wanted to hear thanks man, are those bergers grouping pretty well with that much jump?

I haven’t finished load development yet but so far they’ve been plenty accurate for my uses.
