Tikka 6arc with PBB 24" barrel sent 80 eldvt factory rounds at 3025fps and was automatic on prairie dogs to 400 yards. Easy to spot impacts, quiet suppressed, long strings before getting hot. I'm a 6arc convert, for sure.

It would also be interesting to know if @Procision Arms is doing Ravens with the 6ARC bolt face.

I have definitely heard Jake say on the podcast that the arc bolt face will be available.
Also interested to hear if Form has new thoughts on this. I have no regrets with mine. It has become the most shot rifle I own and I have every intention of hunting with it exclusively this year.

In states with 24 cal minimum I think it’s the best cartridge for a hunting rifle there is. I’ll post some pics of the build I just finished here soon. First time I’ve ever felt like a fanboy of a cartridge

I suspect that both 6mm ARC and .22 ARC will see major increases in popularity if/when 80k ammo becomes commonplace.

I had UM build a 6 ARC for me last year. I'm running 116 TMKs at 2630 fps out of a 20" barrel with a 10 shot .35 mean radius. Recoil is negligible. I can spot impacts at 100 yards. It hits 2001 fps at 575 yards and 1801 FPS at 775 yards. It's my favorite rifle and my go to from now on for deer, elk and black bears.

This rifle weighs 9.9lbs as seen. My next build will be another 6 ARC on a Raven Action with a lighter barrel and in a Rokstok Lite.

I often wonder what a 16'-18' 6 ARC in a Rokstok lite with a SWFA fixed 6, and OG6-S would be like.....

Thanks. I think I will stick with 20”. It’ll be set up for hunting and while I try to get as close as possible to the game, sometimes longer shots are called for. I’m happy with the velocity window that my current rifle gives me and with a OG6S only adding another 3” to the barrel, I think it’ll be perfect.

What magazine are you using? I’m using the mdt 10 rd arc metal mag - and 5 round met metal mag with the primal follower conversion for 6 br - but just this weekend I used the 3 rd mdt plastic SA mag and it worked great and was basically flush. Only maybe 20 rds through it but real smooth: This was in Seekins hunter chassis - I was pleasantly surprised. Need to get more time in it now.

Nice rig! What bottom metal and mag and how is the mag running?

Thanks - I was just admiring your rifle. Great color on the stock. I'm using factory bottom metal with factory 6.5 Creedmoor mags. I have had zero problems with them feeding. I'd tried some of the 3D printed mags to allow for a longer seating depth but they didn't work.

I read your comment about opening up the Rokstok for AICS. I think I will do that with this rifle after I get the lightweight 6ARC built.

Hopefully you’re not talking about my ARC mags? No one has told me of any issues to date. But they are 2.55” coal so you may be talking about something else.

I'm using the 10 round mdt metal arc magazine. No issues through a few hundred rounds this summer.

My plan is to do a short 22arc in the seekins hunter chassis. Good to know there are magazine options!

Pods8 arc mags have been flawless for me. Hundreds of rounds through them with zero feeding issues. I highly recommend them.
