The Tikka dasher is born. PBB 20” hybrid lite with the long freebore (.154).

Threw 30 grains of varget in with a 112 MB and loaded 20 at my mag length using @pods8 (Rugged Stitching) 6 arc mag. So far it’s feeding well.

2575 average over first 20. This lot of varget is old and slow but im just gonna burn up the last bit I have. I was 200fps under book numbers with it in my 22-250.

Alpha brass. .274 neck on the pbb reamer. I’m pretty new to all this stuff so I’m hoping I get it right on the first go.

Here’s today’s shooting. All 30 grains varget and loaded at .030-.040 off lands.
112 matchburner 2575 fps again 1.835” Cbto
108 ELDM- 2595 1.81” CBTO
108 Elite hunter- 2571 1.815”

Alpha brass

Mirage wasn’t great, but I had loaded ammo and this thing is too fun to shoot

Finally managed to get to the range with my new Tikka Dasher. 18” McGowan 1:8 tikka lite profile flared up at the muzzle for 5/8 threads, RS lite, credo 2-10, OG6s. Funny, I bore sited it before it went in the stock. Once I got it zeroed, the turrets ended up back at zero for elevation, 1 click off for windage. Guess that makes it easy to switch this one back and forth to the 7-08 Ackley that was on this action last. Was shooting ammo loaded for my heavy Tikka Dasher I recently sold. 108 VLD, mild load of Varget gets 2585, was 2815 in my 26” gun. Shot a 15 round group at just under 1.5” to verify zero, opened up at the end then noticed the can had shot loose, so will probably shoot tighter than that. Joy to shoot for sure.

Do you think the 107s will work better than the other options out there for hunting? I'm learning about the little 6mm guns and in the process of putting one together on a Howa Mini. Debating bullet choices as I get closer to my finished rifle date. Nice build.

So a couple of days ago I had 60 rounds left of the same lot of 105 Bergers left so I decided to shoot them all into one group and this is the results. A dasher is just easy

I couldnt tell ya. I dont have any experience hunting with 6mm for big game. Shot several yotes with 107 smk. I’m trusting ryan’s and that form guys testing they did with the 107 tmk so hopefully i get similar results
