6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....

Called sierra. A salty CS rep said I shouldn’t believe anything I read on Rokslide.

I wanted the 25 cal specs. He went as far as to say that a new 25 cal TMK was not on their roadmap.

Funny.
That’s hilarious.
Especially since they put contact info at the bottom of the press release:

Oh there are people there that really don’t like us/RS. But, there are people on the other side as well.

Why not? If you care to share?

Same reason people get personality problems here- RS, and in this case Ryan and especially I state the truth- with data, and that goes against what lots of people have as preconceived beliefs. They are unable to de-tether their “I like/I feel/I believe”, from “objective, demonstrable reality”.

The 77gr TMK for instance- despite it’s history, and despite a nearly 700 page thread with hundreds and hundreds of necropsies from coyotes to brown bears, and despite that RS is the reason TMK’s went out of stock years ago and continue to go out of stock: there are people that have stated they would discontinue every TMK made if they could because “no 223 should ever be used to hunt with”- regardless of the reality of is terminal ballistics. “Feelings”, not “data”.

As Thomas Sowell said: “People will forgive you for being wrong, but they will never forgive you for being right—especially if events prove you right while proving them wrong”.

Why? If the 156 Berger will run very well in a 6.5CM with an 8 twist, why wouldn't the 153 TMK? I don't think it will be that much longer than a Berger to cause stability issues.

Jay
I forgot about the 156 honestly so an 8 still might be sufficient. I also am down at sea level where most people on here seem to be much higher. I had stability issues with some projectiles where others have not so I lean more to the faster twist regardless. My 260 is a 7 twist which was faster than I wanted but it hammers.
