Do we have any good wound channel pics yet of it at <2600 fps impact? Particularly smaller animals like deer size? I'm wondering if it doesn't do enough damage before it exits on something like that.

The first picture in the thread is a whitetail doe taken by the 130 TMK

The 130 tmk we were just talking about. Does it do a bunch of damage inside like eldms?
My sample size is not too large yet, but I think you'll be quite satisfied with the damage they do. I have 3 or 4 whitetails taken with them in this thread, from close to mid range with a 22" 6.5 CM, and all results have been messy and definitive.

What bit do you use for this? The ones i've seen at basic hardware stores always seem larger than what people discussing using on the internet.
I have a set of orifice bits for drilling out blanks for gas burners. I have worked in the HVAC industry for 40 years.

I will have to look and see what size I use.

My wife took a good pronghorn with her 6.5x47 Lapua using 144 Berger LRHTs. Muzzle velocity 2750’ish. 320 yard shot in a 12mph crosswind.

Was dead on his feet from the first shot but she put a second one in him to be sure.

No necropsy pics but her first shot was a bit far back and destroyed the diaphragm and got into the paunch. 2nd shot was right in the crease and ripped the top of the heart off. I watched blood gush out the opposite side on impact.

Both bullets passed through with half dollar size exits but we still found lots of copper jacket inside when field dressing.

First deer with match bullets came this morning. Factory 140 gr ELDM out of the 6.5 Creedmoor. Shot taken about 150 yards. Did a quick 50 yards run through some thick brush and went down in some throngs. Left a lot of blood to follow. Was really wanting to take a doe before I take the match bullets out west - I think they’ll work!

Took a mature Shiras moose here in Colorado earlier this week with my Savage LWH. Shot was 140 yards with Hornady Precision Hunter 143 ELDX. She took 3 steps and fell over.
