45-70 Subsonic load data

I'm doing a similar but different subsonic build. I have a 458 socom barrel for my tikka action and will be shooting the 500gr maker and 410gr sub-x bullets like some of you.

@WKR @Nine Banger @Bluefish What distance are you all zeroing at? Is there a functional zero for subs that makes the most sense?

I like 80 yards. That gives a point blank out to 100. Beyond that no matter the zero, drop becomes an issue quickly for point blank.

I tried subs one night for coyotes. Didn’t work well as we were usually beyond 100 and drop changes quickly and needs to be adjusted maybe as much as every 25 yards.
