I’m looking into buying a CVA 45-70 and doing a Hankins muzzleloader conversion. Does anyone have BH209 load data for Pittman, fury or similar 45cal bullets? Any pet loads that shoot well?

I live in a state where smokeless powders aren’t legal for hunting.

With a custom barrel and shooting BH209, there's really no specific load data. Custom barrels just shoot about any bullet and charge combination using BH. Thicker jacketed bullets may shoot better with a wad, either veggie or wool.

I'd be using the CVA barrel that comes with the gun. People have described them as being "thin walled". Most of the CVA 45-70s have a 1/20" twist
