I prefer Rinehart competition targets, they have a better foam. However their larger targets are made narrow, so they aren't good for practicing angle. The muledeer and all the whitetail are fine, but the elk and caribou are flat. I have the Mckenzie elk target, it's good for practicing angles on life-size target.

Good luck finding stuff right now. I have had several Rinehart on order since July or August, still haven't gotten them. I think Mckenzie is backed up pretty good as well.

If you’re looking for life size you better be ready to pay $2k plus for an elk and mule deer.
Also I wouldn’t leave them outside all year. The sun is hard on 3D targets. Add rain and snow on top your investment won’t last very long.
Rineharts are definitely the best I’ve shot. Don’t overlook their scaled down versions. You could get their whole collection for less than what you’d pay for just the life size elk.

I have a Rhinehart woodland buck target and it was shot through in one summer (never a broadhead shot into it). Insert blown out and foam underneath insert (the thin section that holds the front to the back) separated. I used a Glendel full rut before that and it too was junk I'm hoping someone here has a good suggestion for my next target as well. My bulldog bag targets take the bulk of my shots and they are great but I really would like a better 3d target as well...

Don't buy the woodland series.

I have both Delta/Mckenzie Pinnacle targets and Rinehart Competition series. They are a way different target than what you get from their lower end targets.

Real Wild (big shot) seem ok, tho I don't own any.

I bough a Real Wild doe target a couple years ago that has been much more durable than the woodland buck. Since then I’ve bought 2 RW bucks that have held up really well. They all have replaceable cores and an all foam body for just under $200. I cover mine with a grill cover when not in use which has really helped to prolong the life of them. My local shop has a couple more in stock and I will probably add another one to the fleet and a replacement core for the original one I bought.

I have the Rinehart 1/3 elk and caribou and happy with both. They get points all summer and broadheads all fall and are on the second year. Replacement inserts can be difficult to find , but they’re out there.
