What a great rifle! I put a vortex 4x16 I had on it and went to the range. I put about a box of federal blue box power shock in 180 grain and it shot ok around 1 1/4 groups at 100. Then I had 165 federal premium series game kings and the group closed to about 3/4” and the winner was 165 federal nosler ballistic tips with all 5 touching . Looks that that will be an awesome round for whitetails here in WI. Any thoughts on an Round for Elk?

I've used a lot for nosler partition 180g for elk in the past. I've used those on moose as well but wha tI really like is the Trophy Bonded Bearclaw 200g......Turns my 30-06 into sort of a light magnum.
