I can hear the blood pressure ramping up as everyone read the title...

I'm not asking how people generally feel about these particular calibers.

I'm not asking about recoil differences.

I'm not asking about BC or wind calls or any other external ballistics.

I'm not asking about factory ammo availability or anything like that.

I'm asking:
Assuming the same 1800+ fps impact velocity and same shot placement, will there tend to be any discernable difference in terminal performance (wound channel, penetration, time to incapacitation, meat loss, blood trail, etc) between a 6.5mm 130tmk/140eldx/147eldm, and a 7mm 160tmk/162eldx/162eldm.

This would be for deer, elk, moose and I am not including the 175/180 ELD bullets.

I would think the .284 will have a slightly larger wound channel, but not likely discernible.

From what i saw in gel the 160tmk will have about a 1-1.5"wider and 1" deeper cavity vs 130tmk, can't help you on the others.

The 180s are absolutely deadly. Might be the best bullet for down right killing critters.

I'll definitely try them at some point, and if the T3X will stabilize them that will be a huge bonus, but I'm not going to hold my breath quite yet. I'm actually not sure if it is 1:9 or 1:9.5 as I see it listed both ways. I'll check it with a cleaning rod as soon as it arrives.

My Tikka 7RM is 1:9.5. It will not stabilize a 180.
