Why doesn’t your wife just use the 6.5 ?? The recoil difference between it and the 6 is minimal. Hornady makes 120 gr ammo which would be poison on deer. I would keep what you got it’s way more versatile.

I’ve been on quite a journey since posting This only 8 short weeks ago. The wife got behind the 6.5 creed and loved it, even shooting 140s putting 20+ within 10 minutes with no recoil issues. She didn’t need a compact stock like I had originally thought. So she laid claim to the ruger american gen 1 6.5 creed. I’ve since just picked up the compact 1:8 twist tikka 243.
