I loaded some 100 gr Hornady btsp with 38 GR of H 414 tonight gonna try and get to the range this weekend and try them out. Has anyone else tried this powder and if so how did it work out. Shooting a Ruger American with 22 inch barrel.
I have some good loads w win 760, which is supposed to be the same or real close to h414. See post #10.

I cant get the Sierra bullets but di buy 500 100 gr interlocks to work up a load and likely hunt with.

I have used h4831, h4350, h1000, and lately ramshot hunter. All with 95 and 100 grn. and in 4 different rifles with no real difference in accuracy. Nothing chronographed though...
Can you help with ra.shot hunter in 243 100gr bullet .what worked for you

I’ve had good luck with imr 4350 behind a 100gr for deer, but as mentioned there are a lot of different powders that work really well. Easy cartridge to load for. Good luck.

Been loading for 243 or a decade or more.

have used a ton of powders. H4350 was good, R17 decent, but R26 is my current go to. Have loaded 105Amax exclusively. Currently at 3146fps avg. have taken whitetail, axis, pig from 80yds to 580yds and all short to no tracking jobs.

h414 and Blc-2 with a 55gr NBT is a fun load as well around 4000fps! Just never less than moa in my 1:8twist barrel

I love Ramshot Hunter for .243. . Tried it a few years ago. It was accurate enough across all weights for me to decide to go ahead and buy 8lbs. Im Set for years
