87. IYKYK.I wonder how many foot pounds would be necessary to kill a moose in a spot and stalk scenario?

Nice bull! Amazing the bullet didn't bounce off the bull elk armor. Congrats on both!I posted this elsewhere but it belongs here.

Has the one on the left been loaded and pulled? Seems to me like the seating stem is probably the culprit but I could be wrongWhat causes this ring on the end of my 77 and 69gr TMKs? using hornady dies. They seem to shoot fine but more worried they wont expand on an animal. Ran into this issue when working up a new load using some XBR8208. TIA
Yes pulled. 25gr of Varget was too hot so i had a few i didnt shoot. Right is a brand new unseated bullet.Has the one on the left been loaded and pulled? Seems to me like the seating stem is probably the culprit but I could be wrong
You need a VLD Seating StemYes pulled. 25gr of Varget was too hot so i had a few i didnt shoot. Right is a brand new unseated bullet.
Besides the seating stem and full case of powder, your neck tension could be too high due to an undersized button for sizing the neck inside diameter. Just something to keep in mind if you still run into the same issue after changing your powder charge.Yes pulled. 25gr of Varget was too hot so i had a few i didnt shoot. Right is a brand new unseated bullet.
