It’ll probably be fine, but I would get 77gr TMK, 73gr ELD-M, or 62gr Federal Fusion.
If your question is in response to the above list, the 75 ELD-M would likely perform similarly to the 73 ELD-M but was omitted since the subject was gas guns and the 75 ELD-M won't fit in a 223 AR-15 magazine. How about the 75 gr ELDM?

Form,
Why do you recommend the 62 gr Federal fusion rather than the 75 gr speer gold dot?
If a fella happened to have some 75gr gold dots laying around …. Do you have a favorite 223 or 22CM load ?Availability

If you did that and ran a 22 cal. with a 6 creed, the game warden would never know. I put 224 cal and my .243 bullets side by side and there is so little difference that you can hardly tell.Or build a 22 Creedmoor, leave the barrel clean of markings, and use 6 Creedmoor headstamped brass….
I have yet to run into the bull that can shake off a good 224” bullet.
Yep. I would have done that for Alberta hunting but they saw the light and legalized 22 centerfires. If you did that and ran a 22 cal. with a 6 creed, the game warden would never know. I put 224 cal and my .243 bullets side by side and there is so little difference that you can hardly tell.
Is it really worth getting busted over the difference, is a 6mm too much for you?If you did that and ran a 22 cal. with a 6 creed, the game warden would never know. I put 224 cal and my .243 bullets side by side and there is so little difference that you can hardly tell.

It would be nice to choose what you want but the .gov always knows what’s best for us.It’s about freedom.
No, but my point is, there is so little difference that it won't matter. Some say 22 cal. is too small and a 6mm is superior . My point is , a guy can hardly tell the difference when looking at them side by side and seems there is no performance difference neither. But, not , it's not worth getting busted over , but likely never will cause a warden can't tell the difference neither. But oh well, I still just use my .243 Win and it works fine.Is it really worth getting busted over the difference, is a 6mm too much for you?
have you ever posted up your dasher set up? not sure ive ever seen it, just the tiny little groups it prints you postThe reason I got rid of my 22 creed and ultimately am planning on not shooting 223 is that I can’t use it everywhere I hunt. With only a few scopes and a few actions I just can’t justify having a rifle for a specialized purpose.
Plus 6mm bullets just seem to shoot better.
I do think a 6arc/dasher/br/gt could be a rifle for everything for most guys
I won’t clutter up the 223 thread with it, I’ll post a thread, probably a good idea considering we have a few of us on here using it.have you ever posted up your dasher set up? not sure ive ever seen it, just the tiny little groups it prints you post
sounds good, look forward to itI won’t clutter up the 223 thread with it, I’ll post a thread, probably a good idea considering we have a few of us on here using it.
Intrinsic accuracy is a thing, more need to know!
