I’m using the Mil reticle, so used that to holdover. No dialing available for that optic unfortunately.

Awesome shooting and congrats. I was running scenarios through my head of how quickly I could adjust with a mini screwdriver or something lol

I kept reading this thread and finally caved.

Roughtech Ranch in 223. NF NX8 2.5-20. Sig SDR556 can, Harris bipod.








It was cold, windy and snowy, but I had to send some downrange. Several factory loads were sub moa with 5 shot groups despite the shivering.

You won’t catch me hunting deer with it, but it sure does shoot well and is tons of fun.

Some will take offense to that but a .223 trainer is one of the best tools a hunter can get. Especially if your main rifle is also a Tikka.

Sadly, a 223 is illegal where I hunt. Otherwise I’d slay some deer yet this year.

I might have to take a trip to another area where I can hunt that allows 223. If I do, I’ll post up pics.

I’m a solid copper fan and the Tikka really digs BlackArc’s 62gr TTSX loads. I’d love to give this setup a try on deer and/or hogs.
