.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I have thousands of bulk 556 I can shoot for practice. I'll look for the 73gr eldm I can find them local for $7/box more than the 75gr

I’ve only shot two whitetail with them and I couldn’t tell the difference between them and the ELDs

That said, 2 is a very small sample size and folks here advise that they’re inconsistent.

I personally wouldn’t use for elk based on the advice here. But if it’s all you got before deer season, I’d run it.

Even smaller sample size, 1, and that was enough to turn me off of them. On the other hand the 62 gr version has been great.

It seems like they kinda work. 😀
Too many options to worry about them anymore. Thanks guys.

Has your experience with the 75 BTHP been positive?

I've filled freezers with 105 bthp's. Wouldnt hesitate to use a 75gr bthp. It is a bit harder than a ELD...

Course a 55gr sp will kill anything a guy wants to shoot as well

No I haven't tried the 88’s in the 223. I figured I’d

probably reached the point of BC to Velocity, but I could be wrong. I’m going to re visit the 88’s in my 22 CM, so I’ll try them out in the 223 as well, just for fun.
You could be right. Im just curious. Id imagine the 80s are the sweet spot
