You can buy one on Amazon for $37 free shipping. The shipping might be $10 each way might be worth just getting one?
Can you send a link for the one you found? I feel like I searched Amazon high and low and lowest price for a single go gauge is very high. I'll just buy one for $37 and free shipping

I also need a 223 4rd factory mag. Anyone have any leads on those? It seems everyone is out of stock. And why are those damn things $50? That's nuts.

Thank you. I signed up for their text spamming free shipping/10% off, and bought a go gauge, Forester die, and 100 RWS brass.

Btw, 223 RWS brass at Brownells for 0.20/piece

Unfortunately seems like headspace gauges are harder to find and overpriced. Luckily 223,308and creed all tend to be in stock and reasonable.

Planning on building a 223 with a 1:7 and a long throat on a Tikka action. Planning on doing 20". Is the 5.56mm Hornady load data applicable? Says I could get 2700fps with cfe223 88 eldm in a 20" barrel. Also is anyone having luck launching the 88 eldms in a Tikka with a 1:8. Anyone have velocities? A big part of this plan is for me to make use of the piles and piles of lc brass I have and also being able to buy bullets for much less than my 6.5 creedmoor resulting in shooting a larger volume guilt free. My other thought was building a 22 creedmoor and doing minimum loads so I don't scorch the barrel. I'm trying to build a 600 yard prairie dog/coyote/target gun. Don't want a barrel burner as I will be shooting easily 1000+ rounds a year on this setup.

Have you seen the 22 Creedmore Thread? As I recall, lots of guys are buying a 1:8 Tikka 22-250 and then having a gunsmith ream the chamber to make it a 22 creedmore. I believe most, if not all have had success stabilizing the 88’s with that setup. I imagine you could message a few of the main contributors in that thread to get some more specific information if that setup interests you.

Edit: adding link.
