No brown bears yet. I'm toying with the idea of trying. I really liked the idea of a light Howa but with the problems Form has with feeding and reports of trigger problems I'll wait. Are there brown bears on this thread that I can't find?
Don't worry, I already hate myself for asking.

Anyone use Starline? I got 1k coming. No lapua and adi, while consistent, dosnt have the tightest primer pockets.
Curious on thoughts particularly how it relates to lapua.
I have shot starline in my new 223 since new without any complaints. Have 5 firings on the first batch and primer pockets are still tight and groupings definitely aren’t any worse.Anyone use Starline? I got 1k coming. No lapua and adi, while consistent, dosnt have the tightest primer pockets.

If I remember correctly it was said they work similarly but with less penetration. I believe multiple people are using them in 9 twist barrels. 77s are definitely the preferred weight but I understand 69 are more available.I don't remember seeing the 69gr TMK mentioned in the previous posts.
Is anyone using them and if so, how do they perform versus the 77gr TMK?
This may also be a good sourceI don't remember seeing the 69gr TMK mentioned in the previous posts.

I've killed quite a few deer with 69gr rounds. Wasn't the TMK, but it killed them without issue. If I remember correctly it was said they work similarly but with less penetration. That is definitely a unicorn up here...Found these recently. Can't find anything listed for sale in the country (Canada) for 77gr TMK's so I put up a WTB add on a classifieds site and someone came through. Miracles do happen sometimes I guess.
I have 30 rounds of .223 loaded with 77 TMK, 8208 XBR, Lapua brass and CCI 400 primers ready for bear season.
How many bears do you plan to kill?
A maximum of 2. I'll probably have 28 rounds left over, unless I kill some rocks.Sounds like 30 of them.
