I spent the last week reading all 91 pages. The only thing I find hard to believe is the post regarding the malfunctioning SWFA 1-6 :ROFLMAO:.

Any velocity numbers from a 16” barrel with 8208 XBR? LGS got some in and may give it a go. I’m at 2470 with Varget now. I’d like to do a little better than that. Thanks.

starting at that velocity, how far would that give you for adequate bullet performance on critters (black bear/deer size and down) using a 77gr tmk as an example? is 300yds realistic starting at 2,650 fps? kind of plotting on a shorty of some sort for calling cats, and deer setup for my daughter, and the .223 is fairly high on my list of cartridges for this particular rifle... i'm torn between the .223 and some 6mm cartridge

Ab says about 400 yards to 1800fps, per previous posts about velocity 2k was reccomended 1800ish sufficient

As amassi stated, keep it above 1,800’ish FPS. 400 from a 16” isn’t a problem.

Checked the steel I was shooting at 350 yards. Both of my Salvages were grouping under 4” with 77 TMKs and 75 Amax from my patented benchrest. 26” 9 twist and 20” 9 twist.

I paid $425 for the 26” stainless fluted back in 2008 and feel it was worth it. Knocked the spacer out of the mag box and made my own so I can load long with it. I paid $400 for the 20” Hog Hunter 8 years ago and left it stock, the Tupperware stock sucks bad.

Anyone know where to get some 77tmk factory loads? I've been using the hornady 75bthp here in FL for deer and they're nasty but after seeing the success and devastation the tmk does I'm wanting to give them ago in my tikka. Thanks
