Metric threads?View attachment 483890View attachment 483894
This was my work around for a tikka/scope combo that I thought needed a axial stop where the integrated sportsmatch pin won’t work. Screw came from a mount I’m not using.
I reckon. I just used a bolt from a DNZ mount I have and am not using.Metric threads?
Yep, mistake on your partregardless of the comments, the point remains. If you place a pin in the unthreaded rear portion, you can’t use sportsmatch rings and still cycle your bolt, barring a mistake on my part.
I'd hate to break it to her, but with those hips, she couldn't have more than 6 or 7 childrenOh man! I really want to start in with the Kingpin quotes and memes now.
Ya don't wanna get Munson'd out there in the middle of nowhere.I'd hate to break it to her, but with those hips, she couldn't have more than 6 or 7 children
Sure think, Buzz KillingerMods: This is a very interesting, informative thread, and several other conversations have arisen from it, some also quite informative.
Could the spin off conversations about non 223 cartridges and rifle systems and such be moved to their own thread?
For you tikka 223 guys... what is the best/favorite budget suppressor to dedicate to your 223/tikka/6xswfa combo? Anything Under 10oz, less than 8 inches long, and under $600?
I haven't used one yet, but there is the Griffin Optimus Micro. I bought one in July and expect I still have a long time before it comes into my possession with the rate eforms are being approved. It will be louder than larger suppressors though. For you tikka 223 guys... what is the best/favorite budget suppressor to dedicate to your 223/tikka/6xswfa combo? I Google it... and came up with a wyoming arms 4 squared and 5 squared ti suppressor, 4 and 5 oz respectively. Fits the bill price wise... just don't know how they would do on actual suppression. I read they claim to reduce 20db on a 300win. Anyone tried one on a 223? Anything else comparable? There isn’t one that is less than 10oz that meets your other desires.
Here you go, from today, my brother’s stainless T3 Varmint.
Kinda cold, 38F, which might explain the difference in velocity between our rifles.
