WTB 223 and 22lr rifles

I have a Tikka in 6.5 CM and am looking to get another rifle that’s cheaper to shoot to practice with. Looking for both a 223 and a 22lr (that my son might also use). Looking for something good but not great, probably in the $800 area for the 223 and 5-600 for the 22lr but open to being pushed if it’s a great deal.

Aesthetically looking for something that looks relatively like a hunting or target gun, nothing too customized.

And on further investigation it looks like I need to buy locally in person in Northern California if I want to avoid $125 in FFL fees plus an 11% tax…

Get a Tikka T3X from the EuroOptic on sale and a T1X or CZ 457 from wherever you can find one the cheapest.

I’d love to buy on sale new but tax on new guns in CA comes to roughly 20% so buying used results in a huge discount.

NIB Henry long ranger in 223.

Henry long ranger looks pretty sweet but I should have clarified only bolt action for the 223, mag or bolt for the 22lr.
