My group didn't draw our muley tags, but I was shocked to hear my dad didn't draw his first choice whitetail tag in a unit that gave out A LOT of tags.

With it being a random draw and them telling us the tag numbers, at least for deer my strategy was just putting in for what I thought looked decent, I imagine a lot of people put in for units that they saw a lot of tags for, I would not be surprised if some hard to get tags went un-tried for

My hunting partner and I did not draw. 1st year without a tag in the last 11 yrs. Been going most years for the last 32 yrs never a year we couldn't get a tag till now.

My buddy drew the DAV statewide regular deer tag for the first time. We are currently researching what areas and dates it is really good for, then narrowing down where to hunt. We have historically hunted around Brownlee but very excited to find some new country to chase big muleys!
