2025 Sitka Socks

Anyone tried the current Sitka socks? The Gore socks from 4-6 years ago are some of the best I’ve ever found. I picked up a pair of the midweight crew height tonight when I saw them.

Those gore socks were the best . I got lucky and scored a couple pair on here about six months ago. Would love to find a few more. No help on the new Sitka socks.

Not yet. I’m hopeful…those Gire socks a few years back were the best I ever owned. They did wear pretty quick but man they moved moisture up and out like nothing I’d ever worn before.

Agreed. My feet are warmer or cooler, drier and more comfortable in huge condition ranges with the gore socks. I have 6-7 pair but several are almost worn through on the heel. I’ve been on the search for an equivalent for a long time.

I’m in the same boat as everyone else posting, loved the Gore socks and hoping these are essentially the same

They do look and feel a bit different. The heavyweight feel like a more equivalent thickness but I didn’t want over the calf. Trying to find the package from a gore pair to compare the materials

Found the old materials online. 72% merino, 13% ePTFE, 8% Nylon, 6% polyester, 1% spandex.

New label for the mid weight 37% polyamide, 33% merino, 22% polyamide recycled, 4% cordura, 4% Lycra. Certainly different but use will be the real test.

I don’t remember the percentages but the heavyweight had a primaloft material.
