I’m trying to sign up for WI, supposed to open to public today but it’s still closed. So you’re not the only one.

I’m hoping suppressor category in PRS and hopefully other shooting sports opens up legitimacy to them in areas where not legal.
I was just able to register for brownfield as a non member

Weird. I was able to sign up for skills about an hour ago for WI

Certain matches where there isn't a ton of natural barricades, the triple with tripod rear seems to be a huge advantage. Other matches where there is more natural terrain to use, not quite as much advantage.

We're the Match Title sponsor of our first match this year (Baker city Oregon). Really looking forward to it!!!

I'll also be shooting the other Oregon match, the WA match, Idaho, and Montana.

Ken

Thanks for sponsoring! I’m signed up for Baker City in skills. First match!

Planning to also sign up for Madras, and might go open light.

2015 or 16 I went to the PRS Finale near Tehachapi, CA and was surprised to see a handful of guys shooting with suppressors. Not sure if some competitors had special exemptions but I think a handful of guys just took the chance.
what I'm seeing is if you are an SOT then you can have and use them in CA for "demonstration" purposes. If you are not an SOT then you got some big balls crossing CA state line with a felony in your possession. I mean realistically I wouldn't think anyone at a match would snitch a guy out...but who knows, people can be weird.

The other thing is, certain parts of CA are pretty red and I doubt the sheriffs dept is going after comp shooters for having a suppressor. I was working a lot in the central valley during covid when the state said the restaurants needed to shut down yet I could go sit down and have a nice meal out at a handful of places that just flipped the bird and local authorities appeared to not do a thing.

Yeah that's true, problem is you're most likely crossing through lots of blue to get to the red ya know? But at the same time, if a guy isn't being a dumb ass and getting pulled over or waving his cans around...then there wouldn't be an issue
