2025 NRL Hunter

Interested to see how the Barksdale TX match plays out with nowhere to stay within an hour's drive of the place...

Wish they had one day NRL Hunter east of Mississippi. I shot a one day event at Arean in GA a few years ago.

No but I'm going, gotta share the love with our neighbors to the north

I think I will shoot it too. I looked into bringing a firearm into Canada - looks to be straightforward, and if you are competing you can bring up to 1,500 rounds of ammo. I did not see anything about suppressors, but I believe they are illegal up there. Does that sound accurate to you?

Have any of the CO guys shot several of the matches around the front range (I would even consider the Laramie match) and have a favorite?

I'd like to shoot my first match this year and not sure if there's a better one for newbies.

Larkspur is new this year, but pretty sure I've seen the venue. Should be awesome.

I've shot Dorgan's match the last 2 years and it's been vastly different each time, looks like it may be in a new location again this year.

Think Laramie was new for the 2023 Finale so only 2 matches of that one.

They should all be good matches, maybe just pick which is better for schedule or weather.

Dorgan’s matches (Burris Extreme) have been fun, but if it’s your first NRL Hunter I’d suggest going in the skills division.

I would go to the Laramie or Price UT match. For your first one, Price is going to be an easier match but Laramie is a better venue. The Larkspur match is new this year but the property looks awesome. I am not sure about the Burris match since its at a new property this year.

I would recommend coming out to whatever one you can make, shoot skills, and get into a good squad with experienced shooters. You will learn more in a weekend at a match than most classes can teach you.

Correct unfourtunetly

Shitty the Juliaetta ID match isn't happening again.
That match is the Mt Home match again. I talked to Brian and he said that it won't go back up there again. Aside from it being Brian's House, he said it was very difficult with the bussing people back and forth.

I think I've got my tentative schedule down:

Jan 17-19 Pro-Am
Mar 14-16 Baker City
Apr 25-27 Mt Home
May 9-11 Canada
June 6-8 Price

I'll probably skip the finale because Arizona in summer sounds like no fun.,

I plan on going to Belt. Will be my first so I'll be signing up for skills. I'll be taking my 223 for this one as that is what I'm set up for now.
