2025 Moose sucess thread, post em up

Kenai Peninsula bull, finally found him on my last night before having to fly back to work.

Both clients got their moose. Same camp. 200 yards apart. 500 yards from the plane. Called in about 6 bulls.

Found this guy opening morning in an “any bull” hunt. I feel so fortunate! Family has meat for while!

First moose hunt was a success! I’ll be spending my Septembers chasing moose instead of elk now.

I feel the same about caribou after my first hunt. Have moose booked for 2027. Probably change my mind.

Couldn’t call in the bulls we wanted so we went after them. A 60” and mine is 66 what a great. Anything over a mile from camp you gotta be dumb or you gotta be tough. Over 1.5 you have to be both. 2.25 mile pack out on the bear.
