Taking a 6.5 CM as my 2025 moose rifle

I've decided to take my 6.5 creedmoor moose hunting in Alaska this year. I've got a 140 gr Speer Gold Dot loaded over 41.7 gr H4350 doing 2680 fps. Everything is zeroed and it is shooting great.

The hunt is next week and I don't have enough free time to work up a load for my 7mm-08, .308, or .300 Win Mag.

Happy to hear any opinions you might have or experience hunting moose with Gold Dots or this caliber.
I have a nice 53" Bull on the wall from a 2022 NWT hunt. The Precision Hunter ELDX 6.5 round did great. Dropped the bull at 200 yards and finished him off a few minutes later. Earlier that week it took a Sheep and Caribou.IMG_0830.jpeg

I recently ran into some issues with my 7mm rem mag, and will be using my 6.5 creed on a moose hunt next week. Not my first choice but it’s great to see others having success with 143 ELDXs at moderate velocities. I do shoot the creed way better so my confidence is with it.
