2025 Blacktail Bucks

i have some friends around the Rainer area that do pretty good for themselves Oregon has some studs.
That’s a northwest oregon blacktail my grandpa got in the early 90s

There’s some studs out that way for sure

I’m mid coast now

Heres a Buck I got up in BC, some before and afters

Heres more BC bucks, other targets. Passed on many young ones, got into multiple 6-10 yard encounters was pretty sweet! Got some cool footage.

Got 1 more tag and until dec 15th, holdin out for a bigger one. Wish me luck! Good luck to you guys out there! Man its been a wet season up here.

Thanks man! Hahaha same thing i'd be all over comin down there to hunt em too.

I may be takin off to the Yukon border in may, northeast BC, long ways from where I am now and the Columbia BT. I'll have Elk, Stones Sheep, Moose, Goat and some real good WT and MD to start watchin...... but...... I will have one thing occupying my mind come late Oct/Nov, BT lol.

Well this is bitter sweet for me as my daughter has punched her last ever youth blacktail tag here in Oregon. We have had a great run with this tag and it was looked forward to every year she had it. Going into this last one the goal was public land only and an old crusty heavy chocolate horned buck, didn’t matter score or how many points. Just wanted one of those old ghosts. We were beyond blessed to find this guy. Cheers to the end of an era.
