Looking for any feedback on a 2025 6.7 Power Stroke. Went from a 2016 6.6 Duramax to a new 3.0 Duramax. Having a ton of issues with the 3.0 and looking to get away from GM products entirely and back into a 3/4 ton. So any good or bad feedback would be much appreciated. Looking into a Lariat model. Thanks!

I have a 2024 Lariat Tremor and it’s been good so far for the year I’ve had it. I’ve put right 36k miles on it and haven’t had any issues yet. It’s is the HO Powerstroke but practically the same thing. If it were me I would get a 2024, the 2025 lariat loses the door key pad and actual leather seats plus I think a couple other things and they are more expensive than previous years. Get a deal on a 24 and enjoy your new truck.

We have three 2023 models. Getting ready to get a couple more 2025s. Had an AC issue with one, but other than that, problem free.

The lariat version i have has the HO version of the motor. Pretty damn impressive.

We've had a couple dozen of these trucks since the 6.7 came out. They've been the best version of Fords super duty we've ever used.

I find our 2024 lariat feels a little cheaper than the 2011 we had previously. I think it has to do with the aluminum. Doors shake when it's really windy and there's been some strange rattling around the upper windows of both the drivers side and passenger side. I also notice a bit of hood movement when I drive it.
It's still a nice truck and tows amazing, but for the money I expect better. My wife drives it mostly and those things don't bother her.

My company truck is a 24 that I started driving in July. 17,500 miles no problems. Its really snappy and has a lot of power. The motor can definitely out pull what the truck is capable of towing.

I had a 15 prior and put 325,000 on that truck - the shop is still using it. No major problems, still the original injectors. The 24 has way more power than the 15 had and I was happy with that truck.

You whats funny is that I have a '15 dmax.. Never once have i said "i wish this had more power" Does the extra power now yield better mpg's ??? Unloaded mixed driving my truck sits on 17mpg. Gets 10 mpg pushing snow.

I had a 2021 F350 with the 6.7L, I was the second owner, the first owner used it for his hot shot business, so it lived its first 100K with a gooseneck attached to it. He did next to zero maintenance on it, as was evident when I went and had all the proper maintenance done to it. The shop said everything was still all good and nothing to be worried about but it was certainly a good thing I got it done. I had a S&S disaster prevention kit installed for the awesome CP4 when it grenades (not an if, but when with them), and what I would highly recommend having one installed as well.

Overall, it was a great truck/motor and I’ve got ZERO complaints about it and would argue til I’m blue in the face with all the Cummins fan boys out there that the current generation of 6.7L will run as long or longer than a Cummins…yeah, yeah, it’s personal opinion based on research I’ve done, so no need to come at me like a keyboard spider monkey cuz you think Cummins is the best.

I would not hesitate to go out tomorrow and buy another one, every motor is gonna have its quirks and issues. Gonna have horror stories and stories where the guy put 250K on it before he did anything to it, just have to base it on what gives you the warm fuzzies.

CP4 disco party. Wanna have disco party, all your injectors invited.
Funny how many times I hear this. I've worked as a PM here at a Ford dealership for the last 24 years and it is not as common of a failure that the internet says it is, sure it happens but not nearly as often as others make it seem.

I was happy with the '15 as I drove it for 325K. I would probably have driven it a few more years if the service body mounts hadn't completely rusted out.

I haven't reset the fuel mileage since I bought the truck and its at 15.5 right now, but that's includes a bunch of towing and almost 4 months of winter diesel.

I had a 2015 6.7 powerstroke. Absolute worst vehicle I ever owned.

Blown turbo at 25k. Transmission flywheel went bad at 75k. Multiple sensor issues that cost anywhere from $250-$2500 to fix. It left me stranded on the side of the road 3x in 6 months. Including once when I was 500 miles from home.

You couldn’t pay me enough money to own a new diesel. The emissions crap has killed their reliability.

After the 6.ohno that’s not a high bar. The fact that anyone went back to Ford after that debacle is amazing.
Luckily for us at the time, we only had 1-2 of those and quickly. We held on to the prior year's until the new model came out. It was better but not great.

We have had great trucks from Ford. We haven't ever purchased anything else. We have considered a Dodge, but they just weren't as comfortable to drive at the time. But that's been a few years since we've driven them.

I had 3 in my small fleet, dumped them as soon as I realized what a steaming pile they were, but still took a big loss.
