CP4 disco party. Wanna have disco party, all your injectors invited.

But seriously my buddy at Ford is field service tech any that’s the achilles heel. It sounds like private shops are going to a different pump as a remedy.

Am almost done with my first tank of diesel fuel. Even though it is winter and I been warming up the truck before taking off, the lie o meter says 19.8 mpg. Most of the drives are running into town at 65-70 mph. Truck has been in 4WD for about 1/3rd of the time it has been on the road. Truck has the supplemental heater option and warms up very fast. 48 gallon gallon tank gives me a huge cruising range.
Very impressed!

If a guy has drivers driving a truck and he doesn’t own it the truck will never see its full potential because a driver just doesn’t care about a work truck. They just call in and blame the truck. I’ve seen it many times. The 6.7 Powerstroke is the strongest diesel in a pickup truck. Look around on the road and you will see more Ford Superduty trucks than any other kind in its class. That should tell you something.

I have a '24 with the standard output engine. The only reason I bought it is because the dealership gave me a good interest rate, 105k mile bumper to bumper, and 20 free oil changes. The fuel mileage is around 19mpg like others have mentioned. The power is wild for a stock truck, but on par with other brands. I also agree that the CP4 pump and emissions stuff will probably be the problems, but that's why they offer a 105k mile warranty I guess. I use it for my business, so I'll probably run it up to 80-90k miles and trade it in.

To the OP, I think all brands have good trucks and bad trucks. I've had GM and Ford trucks of all sizes and there's been good ones and bad ones. I think it is the luck of the draw sometimes more than anything.

I have a 2019 Duramax and that’ll be the last one we buy. Going back to a 3/4 gasser but dang sure done with GM diesels, at least any from the last decade.

I have a 2024 F450 crew cab 8' box dually with the standard 475hp/1050ftlbs/torque 430 gears. It's a beast and no need for an extra 25hp/150ft of torque. 20hp of that 25 is just a bit more tuning and 5hp from the slightly larger turbo. If you need any extra just take it to a diesel shop for the tune and save $2500. Trust me, you won't need that extra 25hp. That F450 runs so smoothly with gobs of power and its quiet meaning no engine noise or road noise...even with 6 tires. Just over 4000 miles and no issues whatsoever, nor do I expect any. I pull a 10,000lb CTL on a 4000lb 20' steel tilt bed trailer in our NE Pa hills and you don't even know you are towing it. I have no issues with the aluminum body/box as others have mentioned. No noise whatsoever as I have stated. No more GM trucks for me until they address the rusting out issues. You can't give me a new Dodge. Cummins are good engines but the bodies are crap...and coil springs in the rear on a HD truck? Seriously? Go get that Ford 6.7 and be happy you did.
