First snow of the year. Managed to knock down 1 quail and missed the next two. Oh well, still a great day to be out with the pup.

Great day! A little chilly, never hit 20. Boys didn't shoot to well today. We managed a few though!!

I've never seen as many grouse as we did today.

Yes, when I was growing up in southern Wisconsin it was always a good hunt. My dad, I and five brothers would go out pheasant and rabbit hunting. It was even better when there was snow on the ground.
