I have a Garmin Fenix 5 on my wrist every day. And have been a long time Garmin GPS and inReach mini user.

Getting back into the bird dog game in the spring. I see Eric from Ghost Hair always referring to "points" on his watch.

What set up?

I've been running the base model Garmin instict since they came out, pretty much has been flawless. I never take it off. I still use the garmin alpha 100 with T5s, TT15 mini, TT15x, and still have an original Alpha collar that works fine.

I love having the watch for hunting, rarely have to remove the Alpha from the case on my vest. I also have an older Garmin Inreach but it doesn't come across the Instict watch, I guess they can't communicate.

It’s been a great year for us. Family hunt this weekend went great!

Been a tough go for us with a young family hard to get leave and some difficulty getting the 1 year old pup hunting when finally have gotten out but finally got our first wild rooster a few weeks back.
