Grunted him in. He stopped to make a scrape and I let him have it! Only went 30 yds and was dead in seconds.
11/25 MT Public land.

'24 Wisconsin bow and gun bucks. Rifle was with a Rokstok.

Daughter got her first WT buck with a Tikka .223 and 77gr. TMK. The boy missed 2 bucks, but he's only 12 and buck fever got the best of him!
I smoked a little buck out back with the Savage 220 slug gun. Nothing big, but fun as hell shooting deer with the kids!

November 15th on a late season Washington permit hunt. The first time I’ve used a grunt tube successfully!

I saw this buck chasing does on 2 different mornings this week. One time I had my bow and he was out of range. This morning, right after first light, he came cruising through right up to 20 yards where I dropped him with my Tikka .243.

My management buck from this year dropped at 100 w/ 308

Got me a couple of these miniature southern Oklahoma deer. The small bodies make the antlers look huge when they are coming through the thicket. Took me all day yesterday packing them out of a public land thicket. Had a blast.
